Pet Advice!!

All charites that help the welfare of animals and rehorm them all have a vision. We as an organistation aim to help people in adising them on how to care for thier own pet. There is a vast amount of knowledge out there through various animal charites and shleters such as the RSPCA and we want to raise this to the public!

 If you need advice on a lost cat here is what you can do in order to find your pet once again!

• Ask neighbours to check their sheds, gardens, garages or greenhouses for signs of your cat.
• Ask neighbours if they have seen your cat, giving them a full description and showing them a photograph.
• Create posters to put up around your local area.
• Place adverts in your local newspaper and newsletter.
• Report your cat missing immediately. Many people leave it for a couple of weeks before reporting a cat missing, especially if it’s unneutered as they quite often wander off looking for a mate. Your cat could have already been brought into a rehoming centre and rehomed in this time. If no microchip is found, rehoming centres are not required by law to keep a cat for any longer than seven days before finding it a new home.
• If your cat is microchipped, inform the microchip company, this is usually Petlog. Ensure that you update any information that may have changed and tell them your cat is missing, please have your cat’s microchip number to hand before ringing. (Contact info below).
